Postdoctoral research associate in machine learning - automated software synthesis

A postdoctoral research associate position is available within a EU-funded project. The postdoctoral research associate will work on studying artificial intelligent agents that interact directly with computer and computer networks, learning to automatically develop software. This will be based on machine learning models that allow artificial agents to develop structured, hierarchical representations of its environment, by interacting with this environment. These models will integrate and develop upon curiosity-based learning, Bayesian theories of deep learning, representation learning, and reinforcement learning.

Postdoctoral research associate in machine learning - conceptualization of space and objects in simulated robots

A postdoctoral research associate position is available within a EU-funded project. The postdoctoral research associate will work on studying, in simulated robot-like agents, the emergence of concepts and cognitive structures related to space and objects. This will be based on machine learning models that allow artificial agents to develop structured, hierarchical representations of its environment, by interacting with this environment. These models will integrate and develop upon curiosity-based learning, Bayesian theories of deep learning, representation learning, and reinforcement learning.

Open position: Research Software Developer for Machine Learning

The Romanian Institute of Science and Technology (RIST) has an opening for a position of Research Software Developer for Machine Learning, in the context of a project that aims to develop artificial intelligent systems able to automatically generate software. After 3-4 years, the project is expected to spin off a startup that will automatize software creation, and the Research Software Developer will have the opportunity to be part of this startup. The main task of the applicant will be to support researchers for the development and the experimental evaluation of novel machine learning systems that are able to learn new concepts by interacting with their environment.
