The institute launches the researchforindustry.ro platform
The Romanian Institute of Science and Technology announces the launch of the web platform researchforindustry.ro for supporting technology transfer and entrepreneurship in Romania. The platform’s objective is to increase the international visibility of Romanian applied research, to accelerate its international interconnectedness, and to offer the training and mentorship that researchers and institutions need in order to make measurable improvements in the technology transfer field.

Intricate connections between the Julia and Mandelbrot sets
RIST’s scientist Marius F. Danca and his colleagues have discovered that the Mandelbrot set is not only the set of complex plane points for which Julia sets are connected, but also the set of all parameter values for which alternated Julia sets are disconnected.
